I recently moved down to Atlanta from New York and was introduced to Mike Ray to help bring my acting to the next level... I can honestly say that Mike Ray has brought skills and confidence out of me that I didn't know I had.
As a coach, he is so in tuned with what exactly his student needs to focus on. His approach and ways of giving directions are easily understood, and the ambiance of the classes are fun and energetic!!

I have to give much Thanks and appreciation to Mike Ray for helping me to get signed with JPervis, and assisting me in getting auditions for great shows such as ARMY WIVES! Even after you have left his class, he continues to look after you and is always there to give helpful advice.

Mike Ray has pulled out of me a better, smarter Actor. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do :)

Coach Mike Ray at Mike Ray Studios was ,I feel the best thing that could ever happen in my son's Kielan life. His coaching skills from the learned to the unlearned is handled with such patience and self control .He has a nake with his coaching techniques from the young to the adults. Coach Mike genuinely cares about his students. it's not all about money or a time frame with him..It's very rare to find a coach,teacher,or trainer that has no limits when it comes to their most valuable time. He continually gives of himself unselfishly. He is very professional,and personable but yet has a stern style of coaching all wrapped into one. Kielan also learned a great deal in his voice over class with the adults and one other young student but they were challenged by that and stepped right up to the plate with his expertise. It's all about his students success and that is what meant the most to my son Kielan and I. The end result of only 4 months of advanced classes@ The Actor's Scene under his tutor ledge recently landed my son Kielan contracts with Atlanta Georgia's best J. Pervis and the Click Modeling Agency. It doesn't stop there he continues to aid and assist as much as he can . I have been to many acting schools from New York to Georgia. I have never met anyone who possess the extent of the gift of communicating, and enthusiasm for a difficult craft.
I also learned how to avoid "Acting" and instead to convey the truth of a character.There was never a moment of boredom. You could be a hard task master, as you have never tolerated mediocrity. But the result was always worth the hours of rehearsing, refining, and searching.
