What every Actor needs in his bag of knowledge

• Scene Study focuses on the ability to break down a scene and build vivid pictures of truth. Asking the tuff questions, what am I doing here, who am I, and where am I going? Scene study will teach you how to extract information from the written words on a script and see them as characters, objects, and voices so you can make the right choices.

• Audition Techniques: You will work on Camera in every session and view your work as well as have your work reviewed on the spot.  Audition Techniques are designed to develop special techniques needed in auditions and on camera.

• Improvisation is a very important piece of the acting puzzle, many times you will be asked  to improv a scene or add something to the beginning, middle, or end of a scene. The only way to do this effectively is to perfect the art of improv. Our improv sessions will teach you the art of listening, being creative, being in the moment and throwing away the safety net, all in an effort to expand the actors range and spontaneity.

                  

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS CLASS?

• Actors who have had some previous training and/or experience
• Actor who have an agent and may not be booking.
• Actors who are not represented by an agent and would like to prepare for representation.
• Actors who want to sharpen their skills and prepare for the flood of southeastern work
• Actors who are looking for a challenge and spark to jump start their career.

• WHEN:                 Starting Monday April 18th 5:45-7:45 PM
• COMMITMENT: 6 weeks. One class per week.
• FEE:                     $250 Now $180
• CLASS SIZE:       Limited to 12 students
